Steve's writing is regularly featured in the Grand Theatre's Playwright's Cabaret, which celebrates local authors. His comedic plays have been seen by hundreds of theatregoers and have received rave reviews. His work Go To Hell (co-written with Jayson McDonald) was nominated for several theatre awards, including the Brickenden award for Outstanding Original Script. 

He is also a featured performer with the Black Hand Theatre Collective and has appeared as an actor in several Three Black Ring productions.
